LEGAL DEPARTMENT VACANCIES

SECP is seeking to attract high caliber professional to take up & achieve its objectives. The Legal Department provides impartial legal advice to each operational Division and Department of the Commission, and manages & directs the litigation involving the SECP and develops law reform initiatives in consultation with Market Stakeholders and the Government. The persons required by the SECP for the Posts given below would be part of the management team responsible for delivering SECP mandate and achieving its vision. The persons we are looking for should have the following profiles:

DIRECTORS (ISLAMABAD / KARACHI)

• The ideal candidates should an Advocated High Court and not more that 40 years of age. He / she would have an LLB Degree from a renowned foreign or local Institution. Bar-at-Law / LLM degree holders will be preferred. He / she should be have 10 years of versatile Legal  experience (of which at least 5 years should be in Pakistan) in the field of Corporate Legal Consultancy or Corporate Litigation, in a well reputed Multinational  / National Group , Financial Institution Regulatory Organization or Private Law Firm.

JOINT DIRECTOR (ISLAMABAD)

• Minimum LLb Degree with at least 7 years of progressive post-qualification experience in the field of Corporate Legal Consultancy or Corporate Litigation, in a well reputed Multinational / National Group . Financial Institution, Public Sector Organization or Private Law Firm. He or she should hold a license to practice at the High Court. Bar-at-Law / LLM degree holders will be preferred.

DEPUTY DIRECTOR (LAHORE)

• Minimum LLB Degree with at least 5 years of progressive post-qualification experience in the field of Corporate Litigation with a private Law Firm. He or she should hold a license to practice at the High Court. Bar-at-Law / LLM degree holders will be preferred.

JUNIOR EXECUTIVES (ISLAMABAD / KARACHI)

• Minimum LLB Degree with at least 1 year of progressive post-qualification experience in the field of corporate Litigation with a well reputed Private Law Firm.
  The individuals must be comfortable in working in an automated work environment and should have exceptional Communication, Legal Drafting / Writing Presentation and Analytical skills with a positive and proactive team working approach. Candidates for the position should be highly motivated with a proven track of meeting deadlines.
