MANAGING DIRECTOR
Private Power and Infrastructure Board (PPIB)

The Government of Pakistan (GOP) is encouraged role of private sector in all sectors of economy, including the power sector. PPIB, a leading public sector organization facilitating development of private power infrastructure in the country, is looking for a high individual with proven leadership capabilities and track record of success in the national and international arena to take up the role of 'Managing Director'.

 CHALLENGE:

Within parameters of the Government Policies, and general guidelines from the Board of Directors, the incumbent will conceive and execute strategies to achieve PPIB's mission to develop and implement Private Power Infrastructure in the country, its vision , and annual targets.

EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidates must have a professional degree, preferably in management, business, engineering or economics. Minimum 20 years of demonstrated experience in general management in the Power / Energy sector in progressively senior management position in the local / international markets. Proven and widely acknowledge managerial experience in working with professionals from various disciplines and mind-sets knowledge of Power Sector, IPPs Sector and relevant economic factors. Experience of dealing with international financial institutions will be an added plus.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

This is an MP -I position scale of 195000-15000-240000 plus House Rent allowance 75000-105000 and Utilities 9750-12000. The initial contract will be for a period of two years with a possibility of extension on mutual consent of the incumbent and the GOP.
