ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION

The ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock (MINFAL), Islamabad is organization an essay writing competition on the occasion of World Food Day-2007. The topic and theme of topic/theme can be accessed from internet on following addresses: URL: www.fao.org email: World-Food-Day@fao.org : telefood@fao.org The authors/writers are requested to submit three copies of manuscript latest by 30th September, 2007 on the address given below as per following specifications:

Only original creation will be accepted. Any material copied from internet will be debar the essay from competition.

All under graduate and post-graduate students can participate in competition.

The essay should be written on A4 page with double space between the lines and using 12 front size. The length may very from 10 to 12 pages.

The author will provide a certificate from the administration of the concerned university/college showing bona-fide students status of the author.

The essays will be evaluated on the basis of : (i) innovation & originality, (ii) attractive presentation , (iii) fluency in English writing & style and (iv) focus on theme. The first top five best writers will be invited in Islamabad to receive their prizes on 23rd of October, 2007. The prizes will include token cash awards and an appreciation certificate: Writers/authors must give their full name, postal address, telephone number, mobile numbers, fax and email address for prompt contact.
