PIA intends to established of its vendors / suppliers for competitive bidding and transparent procurement procurement. Applications are invited from the well established firms with sound financial background, registered under Companies Act, Sales Tax / Income Tax Authorities for Pre-qualification under following three categories.

AA: Commercial Goods

BB: Flight Kitchen Perishable / Non perishable Goods

CC: Services

Companies meeting the criteria mentioned below may send their pre-qualification application separately for each category.

1./ Complete Profile of the company /firm/ organization with Legal Status (Certificate of incorporation / registration etc.) along with detail of key Personnel in the relevant area.

2. Net equity of the company / firm / organization should be positive. Preferably Last three years audited financial / bank statement along with last three years assessed I / Tax return is required.

Detail of relevant experience in terms of number of years, volume handle and projects successful completed.

Ability to provide satisfactory after sale services. At least 3 recommendations from reputable client regarding the work done by the vendors.

Incase of Equipment Supplier, Manufacturer Authorization Certificate is required.

Details of Litigation and Arbitration cases if any in which the company / firm / organization has been involved during any work

An affidavit to the effect that has not been BLACK LISTED by any Govt. / Autonomous agency.

Any other information / document considered necessary in support of your application.

Note:

Only that company / firm / organization / who meets the above criteria will be qualified / short / listed for further process.

• The application are requested to furnish all required evidence / documents for the above mentioned requisites.
• An applicant applying in multiple categories must apply for each category separately and mark the envelope as such.
• New / Already Pre-qualified applicants will be assessed in accordance with the evaluation criteria annexed with the pre-qualification Performa.
• Qualified company / firm / organization will be required to deposit an amount of Rs: 5000/- (Non-refundable) as Registration Fee.
• PIA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all application or extend the date of application.

The Pre-qualification will be effective for a period 3 years.

Application for pre-qualification can be obtained from Finance Manager PL&C at Karachi and Manager P&L at Lahore / Islamabad. Form can also be downloaded from PIA and PPRA's Website. www.ppra.org.pk

Please submit pre-qualification Performa along with profile of the company / firm / organization on or before 4th September, 2007.

Applicants are required to clearly indicate the category on the envelope applying for pre-qualification (e.g. Commercial Goods, Flight Kitchen Perishable / Non perishable Goods, Services)
