The Government of Sindh, Education and Literacy department, through this advertisement inform that Islamic development Bank, Jeddah Saudi Arabia, has announced “IDB Merit Scholarship Programme for the year, 2012-13 where 100 scholarships are available for all IDB member countries. Under the Programme, the scholars may pursue 3-years Ph.D study or 6-12 months Post-Doctoral Research in any of the approved fields in High Technology at most renowned institutions of high learning in the world.
The scholarship comprises tuition fees living allowances, health insurance, round-trip air-ticket and conference participation allowance in general, and computer and dependency allowance in general, and computer and dependency allowance for Ph.D, students.
The prospective applicants should visit the IDB website: www.isdb.org to download the Programme’s application form and to read full information about the eligibility requirements, how to apply, the Programme’s benefits and facilities as well as the names of universities.
Interested Government employees, working in Education & Literacy Department are advised to send their nomination along with complete application form (all requisite material as mentioned on the concluding page of the Form) to Additional Secretary (A&T), Education and Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, Sindh Secretariat, 2^nd Floor, Building No. 6, Karachi, through proper channel, latest by 18-12-2011, along with the following documents also, for further necessary action:-
