Care International is a humanitarian organization working

security". Care International in Pakistan is currently seeking to hire qualified
technical and senior staff for a proposed five year USAID-funded Urban Workforce
Development Program (JOBS) Pakistan. Positions will be based in Islamabad and

Work Force Development Advisor, Chief of Party (Lahore)
Candidates should be an accomplished senior level
professional with a proven record of designing, implementing and delivering
successful workforce and micro-enterprise development programs in Pakistan or
similar countries. Position will involve close coordination with the Private
Sector and the relevant public sector organizations. Experience of integrating
women and disadvantaged youth into the development process is a must. PhD or
Master's degree in the field of Economics or related field is preferred. The
experience for a PhD degree is 10 years or more and for Master's it is 15 yeas.
Gender Expert (Lahore)
Successful candidates will posses extensive experience in
planning, implementation and assessing work force and micro enterprise
development with a gender perspective. The candidate will advise the
public/private sector to evolve strategies and plans to successfully improve
women economic participation rate and systemic changes with in the labor force
and business to include women as women as equal partners. The candidate will
monitor and report on JOBS project progress and resource utilization with gender
lens. Master degree in Social Science with at least 15 years progressively
responsible experience will be required for this position.
Deputy COP and Capacity Building, Monitoring &
Evaluation Expert (Islamabad)
Candidates must have extensive experience in training,
capacity building and M&E on USAID or other donor funded projects.
Responsibilities include labor and training needs assessments, planning and
development of training programs, partnering with technical institute and
business and tracking outcomes of trained youth women etc, successful track
record of managing and implementing large scale capacity building projects in
difficult working conditions is a requirement. Advanced degree in Development
Economics or a related field required with a minimum of 12 years experience as
deputy team leader and component leader.
Technical Advisors (Nationwide)
Individuals with a minimum 10 years of relevant technical
experience in the following areas:
- Business Development Advisor (Women and Youth)
- IT Job Centre / Training Advisor
- Workforce Development Advisor
- Training, Vocational Education and Skills Development
Advisor
Director of Administration and Financial Management
(Islamabad)
The Administration and Finance Director will be
responsible for overseeing the JOBS program's administrative and financial
management and accountability activities. Requirements include Master Degree in
accounting or business administration with 10 or more years experience in
project administration. USAID rules and regulation experience preferred.
