Aga Khan University (AKU) invites applications for the following positions:

MANAGER, SECURITY OPERATIONS

The appointee should be a dynamic leader responsible for maintaining the institution's security management programme which focuses on preventing future security incidents; managing training of security staff; supervising security awareness programme at AKU and coordinating in-service training of personnel in sensitive areas. The selected candidate will work with end-user departments to identify areas of risk and take preventive measures to avoid losses.

Applicants should have at least a Bachelor's degree with 20 years' experience in the armed Colonel, and a minimum of 4 to 5 years with a security related organisation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are mandatory.

SENIOR DATA ANALYST,
AGA KHAN UNIVERSITY
EXAMINATION BOARD (AKU - EB)

The appointee will be responsible for the management of educational achievement data and the maintenance of examination processing systems in several locations from data capture through consolidation and verification to descriptive and analytic reporting.

Candidates should possess a postgraduate degree in IT, or in statistical analysis, with a minimum of 2 years experience of educational data management.

SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
(AKU - EB)

The appointee will create and promote awareness of AKU-EB in the general public and segmented target groups. He / she will be required to develop public relation strategies and implement these including advertising, publicity and presentations to actual and potential clients.

Candidates should ideally possess a degree in Mass Communication / Marketing or English, with a minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar post.

ASSISTANT STATISTICIAN (AKU - EB)

The appointee will be responsible for day to day remote management of data entry in 24 locations with in rural Sindh and Baluchistan. He / she will be required to prepare statistical reports, manage information from schools and monitor standards at school and Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education levels.

Candidates should possess a Graduate degree in IT with a minimum of 1 years experience in analysis of educational data or in large scale quantitative data analysis.
