Dr. A.Q. Khan Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (KIBGE),

Applications are invited for the following posts at the Dr. A.Q. Khan institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (KIBGE), University of Karachi.

1. Administrative Officer (BPS-17)
   Eligibility: At least Second Class Master's degree in Public Administration with at least two years' experience.
2. Secretaries to the Director General and Co Director General (BPS-17)
   Eligibility: At least Second Class Bachelor's degree Well versed with modern communication skills in English with at least five years' experience.
3. Librarian (BPS-17)
   Eligibility: At least Second Class Masters; degree in Library and Information Science. Well versed with modern and digital libraries with at least two years' experienced in a reputable library.
4. Accounts Officer (BPS-17)
   Eligibility: At least Second Class Bachelors' degree in Commerce / Economics / Business Administration (Finance), adequate acquaintance with modern accounting system, with at least five years' experience.
5. Assistant Engineer (BPS-17)
   Eligibility: At least Second Class B.E. in Civil Engineering with two years' experience or Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least five years' experience in maintenance of civil works.
6. Biomedical Engineer (BPS-17)
   Eligibility: At least Second Class B.E. in Biomedical Engineering with two years' experience or Diploma in Biomedical Engineering with at least five years' experience in maintenance of biomedical equipments.
7. Network Administrator (BPS-17)
   Eligibility: At least Second Class B.S. or equivalent in Computer Science with two years' experience in network administration / engineering.

NOTE:

1. Applications forms can be obtained from the office of the Director General, KIBGE on the payment of Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) through pay order in favour of KIBGE.
2. Applicants are required to submit six (6) copies of the applications, along with copies of the documents, latest by May 24, 2008.
3. The qualifications obtained from HEC-recognized Institutions shall be acceptable.
4. Experience in a University / Government / Semi-Government / reputable private organization shall be acceptable.
5. In-service candidates are required to submit their applications through proper channel.
6. Eligible applicants shall be required to appear for an interview on May 29, 2008 at 9.00 a.m. at the institute.
7. The applicants who had applied for any of the above post vide advertisement published on August 12, 2007, need not to re-apply. They shall be allowed to appear for interview along with fresh applicants.
