The Institute will be responsible for creating certified standards for the Capital Market Professionals, including Intermediaries, the staff of exchanges, Companies linked with exchanges and of regulatory bodies. Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) is currently providing the secretariat and secretarial support to the Institutes.

The institute will develop curriculums for different segments of the Financial Intermediaries & Operators, conduct examinations and award Certification.
The sponsors are now seeking to appoint a mature, dynamic and result-orientated Professional with minimum practical experience of 15 years. Ideally he/she should have experience of capital markets, worked with a well-known National / International Institution, have International exposure to management of examination systems. Knowledge about the development of the curriculums and the capacity to develop an Institute of Internationally accepted standards will be really helpful.
