Engineering Personnel - KICT

Personnel with the following prerequisites are required in our engineering department for the maintenance of newly inducted container handling equipments such as ship to shore cranes, rubber tyre gantry cranes, etc:

Mechanical Engineer (3 Positions)

The Ideal candidates should:

• Be a BE (Mechanical) from a recognized university
• Have at least 3-4 years hands on experience in engine overhauling, automatic transmission and hydraulic systems
• Be capable of interpreting engine service manuals, mechanical & hydraulic system drawings and posses skills for trouble shooting of diesel engines, hydraulic & mechanical systems
• Be good in computers having knowledge of MS-Office
• Experience in container handling equipments will be an added advantage

Electrical / Electronics Engineer (3 Positions)

The Ideal candidate should:

• Be a BE (Electrical / Electronics) from a recognized university
• Have at least 3-4 years hand on experience in power generation, AC/DC Drives, PLCs and electric motors
• Be capable of interpreting electrical drawing and posses skills for trouble shooting electrical control systems
• Be good in computers having knowledge of MS-Office

Trainee Engineer

• Fresh graduate mechanical and electrical /electronics engineers from a recognized university
