Dar Al Riyadh Consultants (DAR), a leading Design and Engineering Company, immediately requires additional staff for long-term assignments in Al-Khobar, saudi Arabia.

Due to the award of several large projects and our relocation to a new office complex, we are seeking suitably qualified candidates having a minimum of 5 years designing experience and capable of handling Oil & Gas, Refinery and Petrochemical projects.

PROJECT MANAGERS

Hands-on experience in project management and engineering of multi-disciplinary design projects.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS

Experience in analysis & design of RCC & steel structures; proficiency in STAAD Pro; exposure to offshore and blast resistant design is preferable.

CIVIL UTILITIES ENGINEERS

Experience in designing roads, paving, grading, drainage, water & sewage and irrigation works.

PROCESS ENGINEERS

Hands-on experience of using Aspen plus - HYSYS for upstream facility design involving oil & gas plants, refinery units, gas processing plants, petrochemical/fertilizer plants, gathering lines-two phase transient flow simulation and offshore/cross-country transport of oil & gas.

INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL ENGINEERS

Good knowledge & experience of I&C design for oil & gas, petrochemical, power and offshore projects, field instrumentation, foundation field bus, SCADA systems for pipelines. Knowledge of Intools is preferable.

PIPING ENGINEERS

Experience in piping layout, piping flexibility analysis, selection of piping materials for plant piping in refineries, oil & gas facilities and petrochemical plants. Experience in cross-country pipelines, offshore platforms and PDS is preferable.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS

Experience in electrical power system design for oil &  gas, refinery and industrial projects. Preference will be given to candidates having ETAP, protection, control and relay setting experience.

COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEERS

 Substantial experience in OSP including FOC & Copper with background in data and/or PDS. SDH/DACS/Mobile Radio experience in pipeline communications including both fiber optic and copper media.

ROTATING EQUIPMENT ENGINEERS

Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with full understanding of API; conversant with pumps, compressors, turbines, ejectors and all major equipments involving oil & gas, refineries and petrochemical industry; should define SoW; evaluate equipment selection; perform design calculations; prepare data sheets, package specification, purchase requisition; vendor documents review and technical vendor bid evaluation.

ETAP ENGINEERS

Qualified Electrical Engineer with at least 7 years hands-on experience in ETAP analysis of low and medium voltage systems; short circuit analysis, load flow and motor starting studies; preparation of relay setting calculations and protection coordination studies using software.

RADIO COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEERS

Graduate in Electronics & Communications with minimum 7 years VHF/UHF/Microwave Radio Systems. Proven engineering design experience in broadband transmission, multiplexers, DACS, site surveys, path propagation and calculations, towers, antennas & transmission lines, AC/DC/UPS/solar power supplies, grounding & bonding systems. Should have sound knowledge of ITU T/R recommendations, IEEE and BICSI.

PROPOSAL ENGINEERS

Experience in preparation of pre-qualification, technical proposals and sub-contracts.

MATERIAL SPECIALISTS

Substantial experience including initiating quotation requests, evaluation, market research and preparation of purchase requisition. Knowledge of Aramco material system is preferable.

CAD DESIGNERS/OPERATORS (ALL DISCIPLINES)

Experience in both AutoCad and Microstation is essential, and PDS is preferable.

COST ESTIMATORS

Substantial experience involving oil & gas and petrochemical projects. Knowledge of Timber Line, ICRUS and KBASE is preferable.
