National Industrial Parks Development and Management Company (NIP) is a Public-private partnership set up to promote industrial growth in Pakistan by developing world-class industrial parks throughout Pakistan.

NIP invites applications for an Environment at its Regional Office - North, The individual must be a team player , energetic, dynamic result-oriented  with excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.

Reporting to the Regional Director , the incumbent will be based in Lahore but the area of operations shall be all over the country.

The incumbent will primarily be responsible for:

• Conducting field surveys and monitoring to establish baseline data or levels of pollution/contamination.

• Collecting and interpreting data from a variety of sources, putting it into order and presenting it as written reports and policy statements (these reports will examine areas such as the effects on human health, groundwater and the surrounding environment of industrial parks).

• Conducting audits to evaluate the environment performance of particular activities, developing environment management systems.

• Carrying out environment impact assessments for a wide range of development  projects.

• Framing environment rules and regulations and suggest improvement in manufacturing process to reduce pollutants

• Design pre-treatment facilities for the manufacturing concerns

Qualification and Experience:

• Minimum an MSc in Environmental Science. Ph.D degree preferred.

• At least 15 years of experience , preferably in dealing with Environment Protection Agencies.

• Knowledge of local languages like Pashto/Balochi will be an added advantage.
