Aga Khan University Hospital is managing the French Medical Institute foe Children in Kabul, Afghanistan, an 85-bed paediatric hospital, which aims to provide accessible and cost-effective quality medical care to Afghan children. Applications are invited for the following positions based in Kabul:

ADMINISTRATOR, ALLIED SERVICES

The appointee will assure the smooth running of the allied services of the hospital which include the consulting clinics, diagnostic services (laboratory and radiology), medical records, food services and housing, and implement policies to ensure patient safety and satisfaction. Candidates must have suitable post-graduate qualifications with extensive hospital administration experience in a reputable institution.

MANAGER, CLINICAL LABORATORY

The appointee will develop business plans and monitor on-campus and off-campus Clinical Laboratory operations to ensure high quality, customer focused services, proper maintenance of equipment and capacity building of national staff. Candidates should have an MBA or Master's in Health Management or Medical Technology with at least 4 years' relevant experience.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

The appointee will ensure preventive and break-down maintenance management of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC equipment and utility services. Candidates must have a BE or DAE (Mechanical) with at least 4 years' related experience on maintenance management system of big commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals or industrial complex.

Selected candidates will be paid a salary in US Dollars, commensurate with experience and accomplishments. In addition, full boarding / fringe benefits will be provided.
