System Engineer

Qualification: Bachelors or Master in the field of IT or Electrical or Electronics from and HEC recognized university / institution.

Experience: 1-3 years experience of configuring different desktops (GHOME, KDE etc) and implementing supporting troubleshooting applications and systems on open source systems such as RedHat , SUSE Debian.

Skills:

- Sound working of Linux based systems and applications

- Proficient in installing / troubleshooting OS & applications on Linux & Identifying.

- Configuring various device drivers / hardware on Linux

- Sound knowledge on email servers LTSP, LDAP, Squid , DHCP services and scripting.

- Working knowledge on Linux based thin clients will be considered as Added Advantage.

The person will be responsible for the following

- Supporting infrastructure on systems / applications installation and troubleshooting.

- Supporting end users - troubleshooting issues
