SAP Functional & Implementation Specialist

Eni Pakistan Limited is an oil and gas exploration and production company. It is part of the Eni S.p.A. and is the operator of the Bhit and Kadanwari gas fields and many other on-shore and off-shore exploration licences. We are looking for a self-motivated candidate having following qualifications and experience to fill the position of SAP Functional & Implementation Specialist at our Karachi office reporting to the "Manager Information & Commercial Technology."

The Job

Eni Pakistan is initiating the implementation of SAP at its office and field locations. The SAP Functional and Implementation Specialist' will be responsible for coordinating the design , development , and delivery of SAP at Eni Pakistan for Finance Accounting , Cost Controlling, Procurement , Materials Management and Plant Maintenance functions. The successful candidate shall:

• work with Development Heads , Supervisors , End-users , Consultants and Counterparts in Eni HQ.
• guide and assist in outlining business requirements and translating them , design and implementation parameters; recommend improvements to departmental procedures for process optimization.
• develop and maintain a comprehensive Master Plan for SAP implementation and keep a close liaison with the process owners and implementation team for project progress monitoring.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a reputed local or foreign university.
• MBA or MS degree would be an added advantage.
• SAP functional certifications.

Skills & Experience:

• 5-7 years of General IT experience of working in a reputable organization, preferably in the oil & gas sector.
• 3-4 years SAP functional experience with export knowledge of functional module theory and protocols.
• Substantial experience of working with users in defining business processes and functional specifications.
• Hands-on experience of SAP testing protocols and SAP report designing skills.
• Experience of training and supporting end-users in system operation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills , with proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Awareness of Sarbanes Oxley Act and its ramifications.
• Proficiency in office productivity applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Project).

 The candidate will be excepted to travel and may need to stay abroad or at field locations for extended periods.
