LIAQUAT NATIONAL MEDICAL COLLEGE

Liaquat National Medical College is looking for followi9ng self motivated and enthusiastic professionals who have passion and desire to make a positive difference in patient care as well as in medical education and can contribute towards the realization of the Medical College's mission and vision.

Applications are invited for the positions of Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors in the following disciplines.

Anatomy, Community Medicine, Physiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Pathology, Medicine, Surgery, ophthalmology, E.N.T., Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics Medicine & Surgery, Orthopaedics, Psychiatry, Radiology, Anaesthesia, Dermatology, Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Urology, Chest Diseases.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Professor

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualifications recognised / registered by the PM&DC and D.Sc/Ph.D/FCPS/ MS/ M.D./ M.Phil (Pak) in respective basic subjects (As accepted by the PM&DC).
• Three years teaching experience as an Associate Professor in the respective subjects provided that the total experience as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor shall not be less than eight years or nine years teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in the respective subject.
• At least Two (02) research papers in last three years have been published in standard medical journal approved by the PM&DC before promotion as Professor.

For Associate Professors

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualifications recognised / registered by the PM&DC and D.Sc / Ph.D FCPS/ MS/ M.D./ M.Phil(Pak) in respective basic subjects (As accepted by the PM&DC).
• Five years teaching experience as an Assistant Professor.
• Three (03) papers in International/ National Peer reviewed journals (as accepted by PM&DC).

For Assistant Professors

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualifications recognised / registered by the Pm&DC and D.Sc / Ph.D / FCPS/ MS/ M.D./ M.Phil(Pak) in respective basic subjects (As accepted by the PM&DC).
• Three years teaching experience in relevant discipline.
