AKES, P invites applications for the position of Head of Education based at Central Office, Karachi.
The incumbent will assist the Chief Executive Officer in leading school improvement in AKES, P schools including school operations, school planning, development, monitoring and evaluation of AKES, P Schools.
The incumbent will be responsible to prepare long-term strategic plans, programmes and policy in collaboration with the Senior Academic and Executive Team. S / he will maintain close liaison with Regional Heads of Education, Principals and Coordinator of Premier Schools and their teams, relevant community members, government officials and with the AKES, P Board through the CEO.
The ideal incumbent should preferably have a PhD. with Master's degree in Education and planning or Leadership and Management; a minimum of 7 years' experience in a leadership position, preferably in a non-governmental organizational setup. S / he should be a creative thinker with strong focus on school development; strong interpersonal, presentation, organizational, management and excellent English writing skills with demonstrated skills and experience in report writing and research.
The position requires traveling to different regions of Pakistan, including Northern Areas and Chitral.
