Aga Khan University invites applications for the following positions:
MANAGER, INTERNAL AUDIT The incumbent will bring technical competence in health operations enabling the Internal Audit Department to undertake technical / quality reviews in the health care areas to add value to the university's operations. He / she will also conduct risk analysis of the institution, participate in the development of annual audit plans and prepare reports. Candidates should possess MBBS and Post Graduate degree in Health Administration with 5 years' related work experience in Health Administration, an additional degree in Business Administration will be an advantage.
ASSISTANT MANAGER EXAM LOGISTICS AND SECURITY AKU-EXAMINATION BOARD The appointee will assist in the timely and secure administration of examinations; organise storage and distribution of examination materials; assist in the recruitment and training of invigilation staff and develop and maintain a database of invigilators. Candidates should have at least a Graduate degree with 2-3 years' relevant work experience in a reputable institution along with good interpersonal skills and strong customer service orientation skills.
SUBJECT SPECIALIST FOR URDU AKU-EXAMINATION BOARD The appointee will assist in the development and review of syllabi and examination papers at both SSC and HSSC levels for Urdu, in accordance with the National Curriculum. He / She will also facilitate the work of Urdu subject panels, as well as review the existing support and learning materials. Candidates should have a Master's degree in Urdu. Knowledge of assessment skills as well as teaching experience at SSC and or HSSC level will be an added advantage.
EXECUTIVE PUBLICATIONS (URDU) The selected candidate will be responsible for writing and publishing articles in Urdu and for translating articles, speeches, press releases, news clippings and brochures from Urdu to English, and vice versa. He / she is also expected to scan Urdu newspapers daily for news on a variety of subjects. Candidates should possess a Master's degree with 2-4 years' experience with a newspaper or advertising agency. Candidates are expected to have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu; strong interpersonal skills and the willingness to learn.
For all the above positions, computer proficiency especially MS Office is mandatory.
