Business Impact Analysis
State Bank, being the central bank of the country has taken significant measures towards Business Continuity Planning and has documented a Business Continuity Process in the year 2007, besides training key people and establishing back up resources. For strengthen further, Bank now intends to undertake a Business Impact Analysis through an independent external resource of established repute. The purpose of the analysis is to establish a clear-cut differentiation between the critical and non-critical organizational functions and to ultimately document technical recovery solutions.
The Business Support Services Department (Procurement Division), on behalf of Office of the Corporate Secretary, nominated Client of State Bank of Pakistan for this assignment hereby invites proposals from eligible national consultancy firms to provide "Consulting Services to Undertake Business Impact Analysis (BIA)" as per Terms of Reference (TOR) incorporated in the Request for Proposals (RFP) document. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the task.
The consultant's team should essentially comprise qualified BC experts and seasoned resource with an extended exposure of conducting Business Impact Analysis and Risk Assessment. Proven track record of implementing BIA and RA in organizations of a comparable scale and complexity would be essential. Preference shall be given to firms having personnel certified from BCI UK and well versed with internationally available standards such as Good Practice Guidelines from BCI UK, PAS 56 (BS 25999) or equivalent.
A firm will be selected under procedures described in RFP which can be downloaded from www.sbp.org.pk\tenders or www.ppra.org.pk, and in accordance with the policies of the State Bank of Pakistan as detailed in the Public Procurement Rules 2004 which can be found at the following website: www.ppra.org.pk
