LEGAL ADVISOR - SPL

Shell Pakistan is a leading multinational is the Oil Marketing Sector, with a presence of over one hundred years in Pakistan. We are seeking to recruit a top-level legal professional for the position of Legal Advisor. The position reports to the Head of Legal.

Key deliverables are:

• To provide high quality legal services to the assigned lines of business.

• To provide the company with comprehensive litigation management, prompt and sound legal advice, contract drafting services and representation in Courts and Tribunals.

• To provide professional support to the Legal Affairs Manager on a wide variety of subjects, including Intellectual Property and Corporate affairs.

• To ensure that the business complies with the law, company policies and Shell General Business Principles.

The ideal candidate will be an LLB (Hons) with 5 to 7 years of legal experience gained in private practice or as in-house counsel for a multinational company; have commercial awareness, in particular knowledge of business drivers and needs when rendering legal advice and tracking legal issues; and possess excellent negotiating and drafting skills.
