SIUT is a 450-bedded tertiary care teaching hospital providing comprehensive care to patients Urology, Nephrology, Transplantation, G.I. and Paediatric, diseases. It is recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) and University of Karachi. Applications are invited for the posts specified below for the above said research project funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

1. Post/Designation: Assistant Professor

Qualification/Experience: PhD in Molecular / Cell Biology from a reputed foreign university. Documented expertise in Cell and Tissue Culture Techniques/ Mouse and/or Human Stem Cells / Gene Expression will be preferred.

2. Post/Designation: Technologists

Qualification/Experience: M.Sc in Biological Sciences from a reputable University with at least 2 years experience of working in a research lab.

3. Post/Designation: Technicians

Qualification/Experience: B.Sc from a recognized Institution with 2 years experience of working in a research/teaching lab.

4. Post/Designation: Lab/Animal Attendant

Qualification/Experience: Matric/Intermediate Science

5. Post/Designation: Veterinarian

Qualification/Experience: DVM or equivalent qualification is required capable of maintaining and handling mice.

6. Post/Designation: MPhil/PhD Students

Qualification/Experience: M.Sc Biological Sciences from a recognized Institution with Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry / Genetics as one of the subjects. Must clear GRE General as per HEC requirements for admission to higher degree programs.
