Karachi shipyard & Engineering Works Ltd. (KSEW) is in the process of upgrading its facilities to enhance effectiveness. Position: Senior Civil Engineer

No. of Posts: 01

Qualification / Experience: MS/M.Sc. (Civil Engg) with atleast 10 years experience.

or

BE (Civil) with atleast 15 years experience in project planning, scheduling execution supervision, overall project/contract management planning at repair / maintenance of existing facilities / infrastructure. Experience in marine civil works and structural engineering will be considered additional qualification.

Position: Civil Engineer

No. of Posts: 01

Qualification / Experience: BE (Civil) with at least 10 years experience in project management, Supervision / monitoring of new civil construction project, as well as managing repair / maintenance of existing infrastructure.

Position: Mechanical Engineer

No. of Posts: 01

Qualification / Experience: BE (Mech) with at least 10 years experience in project management, execution, Supervision / monitoring of erection of industrial equipment (mechanical) and maintenance management of industrial equipment.

Position: Electrical Engineer

No. of Posts: 01

Qualification / Experience: BE (Mech) with at least 10 years experience in project management, execution, Supervision / monitoring of erection of industrial equipment service / facilities (electrical) and maintenance management HT and LT networks.

Position: Supervisors

No. of Posts: 04 Civil 02 Mech 01 Elect

Qualification / Experience: DAE in related specialization with at least 10 years in any industrial unit for supervision / monitoring of new projects and maintenance of industrial units.

Position: Draughtsman

No. of Posts: 02 Civil 01 Mech 01 Elect

Qualification / Experience: Diploma in relevant engineering discipline along with short courses in engineering drawing, able to produce drawing in Auto CAD. Candidates with 6-10 years experience will be preferred.

Position: Computer Operator

No. of Posts: 02

Qualification and Experience: Must be intermediate with good typing speed along with short courses in Computer Software, well conversant with MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel , etc.)

• Application must accompany 02 passport size photographs, attested photocopies of relevant degree / course certificates, CNIC and experience certificates.

• Application degree / qualification certificates must be from HEC recognized University / Govt. recognized boards.

• Appointments will be on contract basis initially for two years (extendable).

• Only short listed candidates will be called for interview.

• No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates for test/interview.

• Minimum acceptable pay package may be indicated in application.
